The LHS Collaboratory Seminar Series is planned for individuals from a variety of disciplines who are interested in learning health systems (LHS) and how to create them.

Attendees will be able to learn about cutting edge research related to cardiovascular health and disease in aging populations. Overall, attendees will leave the lectures with an enriched perspective on the biology and the genetics influencing cardiovascular aging, providing updated knowledge to improve preventive care and treatment for older patients.

Physicians are often unaware of new treatments to implement, more appropriate and effective use of diagnostic testing or effective use of existing treatment. Physicians need to eliminate gaps in care resulting from the transition of care; inpatient to outpatient. The UNHIDE program was conceptualized by a multi-disciplinary group of clinicians and scientists who are invested in the diagnosis and care of patients with known or suspected genetically-driven disorders of blood and immunity. This program was created to facilitate the sharing of expertise and resources for care of these complex patients.

Medical Providers at the Veterans Affairs Ann Arbor Health System provide perspectives and insight into certain urological conditions and cases, presented weekly as a group.

Trainees present past OR cases and discuss procedures and outcomes. Attendees glean new information for future OR cases.
