Overview
One gynecologic oncologist and one administrative lead from each participating MOQC practice are encouraged to attend both Gynecologic Oncology MOQC Biannual Meetings, one in the Spring and one in the Fall, to qualify for participation points for Value-Based Reimbursement. Following participation, practices will routinely adjust opioid prescribing based on inpatient use, historical utilization, and other identified risk factors; improve the timeliness of chemotherapy initiation for patients undergoing debulking surgery for ovarian cancer; and strengthen recruitment and interprofessional development efforts to enhance care delivery through improved practice management.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Use gynecologic oncology quality measures to guide clinical and operational decisions.
  2. Integrate evidence-based strategies to deliver cost-effective, high-quality care.
  3. Apply multispecialty, interprofessional approaches to improve coordination, efficiency, and outcomes.
  4. Participate in a statewide multidisciplinary gynecologic oncology tumor board to evaluate complex cases and incorporate expert, evidence-based recommendations.
  5. Analyze practice experiences to identify opportunities for improvement and implement change.
