Join us for our fifth Safer Prescribing Series Webinar, where we will discuss effective conversations about opioid tapering and deprescribing and explore the different options for these interventions in the emergency department and outpatient clinics.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Incorporate methods of harm reduction, safe prescribing and healthy equity into their patient interactions relating to opioids.
  2. Implement effective conversation strategies in the context of the management of patients with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).
  3. Describe the indications for the initiation of Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) for patients with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).
  4. Diagnose a patient with Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD)
