Overview
The 2025 Pathology Informatics Summit continues its tradition of assembling the top thought leaders in clinical laboratory and anatomic pathology informatics. The Pathology Informatics Conference topics will include exciting and innovative informatics sessions in the following fields: Laboratory Medicine, Anatomic Pathology, Digital Imaging and Machine Vision, Molecular/Genomics, Operations, Education, AI/Machine Learning, Regulatory Issues, and many more! Without question, PI Summit 2025 will be a singularly outstanding event and should be on the ”must-attend” list for anyone interested in staying current in this very fast-paced and important sub-specialty of pathology.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Define the rapidly evolving field of Digital Pathology and showcase associated opportunities for an expedited adoption of new workflow models leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence, and be better prepared to make optimal selections of hardware solutions.
  2. Understand and learn tenants of general data sciences techniques, business intelligence analytics, core machine learning concepts, and opportunities for deployment of cogent clinical solutions in the newly-forming area of the computational pathology lab section.
  3. Understand the various software and hardware products available in the clinical laboratory and pathology market by interacting with a large number of exhibitors.
  4. Understand the requirements to deploy informatics solutions in the clinical diagnostic laboratory.
  5. Present new research in pathology informatics on the basis of submitted competitive scientific abstracts.
  6. Provide a forum for basic pathology informatics instruction for house officers and fellows in pathology training programs.
  7. Understand the most effective methodologies in which to deploy and maintain large language models (LLMs) for clinical, educational, and investigative uses.
  8. Provide updated best practices in the rapidly evolving area of digital pathology primary diagnosis.
  9. Provide updated best practices in the rapidly evolving area of digital pathology primary diagnosis.
