Overview
The Multicenter Perioperative Outcomes Group (MPOG) Annual Retreat is a gathering of healthcare professionals and researchers focused on sharing knowledge and advancing practices in perioperative care. This event provides a platform for collaboration, discussion on recent advancements, and the development of strategies aimed at improving patient outcomes across multiple healthcare centers.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Learn to assess safety in ambulatory anesthesiology.
  2. Apply recent guidelines.
  3. Implement a patient-centered approach to improve perioperative care quality and safety.
  4. Identify PONV's incidence, risk factors, and etiology, evaluate management strategies, and explore future research.
  5. Identify sources of variation in perioperative analgesic practices across institutions and patient populations.
  6. Understand how pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic modeling might allow for a more powerful approach to opioid equivalency.
  7. Describe the impact of intraoperative fluid management on early graft outcomes in kidney transplantation.
