ACCME Objectives
  1. Describe the effect of Regenerative Peripheral Nerve Interface (RPNI) on lower extremity mobility and prosthesis usage in patients with major lower limb amputation.
  2. Apply the learned knowledge base to further their diagnostic accuracy and treatment plans/skills which will improve patient outcomes.
  3. Discuss the relationship between orthostatic heart rate response and recovery after sport-related concussion
  4. Describe the relationship between hematologic inflammatory markers (i.e., neutrophil-lymphocyte ration, platelet-lymphocyte ratio, lymphocyte-monocyte ration, and systemic immune inflammation index) and traditional acute markers of traumatic brain injury severity (i.e., Glasgow Coma Scale, post-traumatic amnesia duration) and 6-mont recovery
  5. Discuss the relationship between the number of pudendal nerve blocks and pain relief in patients with pudendal nerve entrapment
  6. Describe the influence of methylprednisolone dose on post-procedure pain reduction following sacroiliac (SI) joint injection for SI-mediated pain
  7. Discuss the role of repeat electrodiagnostic evaluation when assessing patients with incomplete symptom resolution after lumbar laminectomy.

APA Objectives
  1. Explain how tobacco use affects risk of 30-day readmission, as measured using LACE score, following inpatient hospitalization.
  2. Explain resilience as a dynamic trait vs. an intrinsic quality identify and factors influencing resilience in cancer rehabilitation patients.
  3. Identify and compare patient characteristics, engagement, and clinical outcomes of patients treated in a chronic widespread pain clinic.
  4. Describe existing literature reporting the effects of ayahuasca on mental and physical health
  5. Identify factors associated with a clinically important reduction in pain intensity after platelet-rich plasma injection for musculoskeletal pain.
  6. Identify patient characteristics associated with a positive response to InTrathecal Baclofen (ITB) trial and high likelihood of benefitting from ITB pump placement.
