Overview
Join us as we discuss how dementia impacts diverse groups, including Black, Hispanic, Middle Eastern/North African (MENA), LGBTQ+, and Jewish Americans, those living with HIV and intellectual/developmental disabilities, and Veterans.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Identify at least three patient populations with an increased rate of dementia
  2. Screen diverse patient populations for dementia.
  3. Describe common health disparities that increase risk of dementia in diverse patient populations
