Overview
The weekly work sessions cover safety and quality theory and application. Members of the University of Michigan Health’s Continuous Improvement Division of the Quality Department facilitate these weekly sessions, along with guests from the Medical School, Enterprise Leadership, and thought leaders in Quality Improvement. After this activity participants will be able to build an organizational culture in their areas and across the enterprise wheresurfacing errors and issues are regularly practiced without fear. Graduates of this program will be well-positioned to direct quality and safety initiatives and to facilitate and coach in quality and safety in patient care. Completion of the PASQUAL Scholars program will lead to participants producing a more robust organizational culture (in their areas and across the enterprise), based on collaborative problem-solving, high-reliability practices, and a foundational vision of Belonging-Access-Safety & Quality, and Experience.
