Overview

This virtual-live course is designed for physicians, nurses, and social workers interested in gaining a comprehensive understanding of Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), their functions, and the importance of healthcare providers in ensuring high quality of care. The course encompasses four sessions, each lasting around two hours, covering essential topics related to ACOs, including MSSP overview, coding, documentation, care management, and quality measures. After the activity participants will be able to understand the role of ACOs and their functions, as well as apply knowledge learned in the course to better serve patients and fulfill CMS requirements. There will also be improved physician/patient communication, and improved quality scores due to timely preventive care and chronic disease management.
