This activity will employ a mix of lectures, case presentations, and panel discussions to enhance the ability of any ophthalmologist to identify and manage key neuro-ophthalmic complaints. Participants will benefit from the perspectives of a diverse group of subspecialists. The program will highlight key principles in differentiating between neuro-ophthalmic and non-neuro-ophthalmic causes of vision loss and provide clinical updates. The program will also cover the selection of premium intra-ocular implants in cataract surgery and management of difficult postoperative outcomes.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Differentiate between neuro-ophthalmic and non-neuro-ophthalmic causes of vision loss.
  2. Apply evidence-based standards of care to manage key neuro-ophthalmologic complaints.
  3. Select appropriate patients for the latest technology in cataract surgery.
  4. Manage challenging postoperative outcomes in patients with vision loss.
