Overview
At the conclusion of this course, participants will have an in-depth understanding on the latest advances in cardiovascular medicine including emerging therapies, evolving clinical guidelines, and diagnostic strategies. Participants will also gain practical insights on enhancing patient care, optimizing treatment decisions, and applying new evidence in clinical practice.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Differentiate diagnostic and management strategies for acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases.
  2. Evaluate emerging therapies in interventional cardiology, vascular surgery, and left atrial appendage occlusion.
  3. Apply updated guidelines for lipid management, hypertension, pericardial disease, and coronary artery disease.
  4. Interpret findings from ambulatory cardiac monitors and advanced imaging to improve diagnosis of HFpEF, pulmonary hypertension, and other conditions.
  5. Assess the role of GLP-1 agonists in cardiovascular disease.
  6. Determine optimal referral timing for advanced therapies consideration.
  7. Analyze complex cases to enhance clinical reasoning.
