Overview
The Michigan Trauma Quality Improvement Program (MTQIP) is a Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) and Blue Care Network (BCN) Collaborative Quality Initiative (CQI) that addresses inconsistencies and variations in patient outcomes related to trauma care in Michigan.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. utilize recent advances in care for orthopedic trauma patients.
  2. review MTQIP benchmarking reports, interpret their data, and explain their center's outcomes
  3. evaluate benchmarking data to address quality improvement efforts
  4. utilize recent advances in care for trauma patients.
