Overview
This free webinar, featuring a panel discussion with Michigan Medicine faculty from hematology and oncology, radiation oncology, pulmonary and critical care medicine, and thoracic surgery, will provide an update on the evolving landscape of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) treatment. The panel will explore the critical role of invasive staging in NSCLC, key patient- and disease-specific factors to consider when determining treatment, and recent clinical trial updates on neoadjuvant, adjuvant, and perioperative immunotherapy for stage III NSCLC.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Summarize the role and clinical significance of invasive staging in the diagnosis of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
  2. Apply patient-specific and disease-specific factors that should be considered when deciding between surgery and radiation treatments.
  3. Assess recent clinical trial data on neoadjuvant, adjuvant, and perioperative immunotherapy for stage III NSCLC.
