Overview
Attendees will be able to learn about cutting edge research related to cardiovascular health and disease in aging populations. Overall, attendees will leave the lectures with an enriched perspective on the biology and the genetics influencing cardiovascular aging, providing updated knowledge to improve preventive care and treatment for older patients.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. treat older patients with cardiovascular disease.
  2. explain recent discoveries in molecular mechanisms involved in cardiovascular aging to enhance their medical knowledge to treat older patients
  3. apply insights from cutting edge research on cardiovascular aging biology and genetics
  4. provide up to date evidence based cardiovascular care for older patients.
