  2. Learner will be able to describe and discuss the ASAM/AAAP National Practice Guidelines for treating stimulant use disorder.
  3. Learner will be able to describe key barriers and facilitators to reducing health disparities in the overdose epidemic.
  4. Learner will be able to describe key elements of low barrier approach to Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) treatment and important considerations to implementation.
  5. Learner will be able to discuss key career options and pathways for careers working to help people with substance use disorders.
  6. Learner will be able to identify, describe, discuss and evaluate the opportunities and challenges in addiction care including current clinical challenges and policy needs in Michigan.
  7. Learner will be able to describe and discuss impacts of substance use disorders, recovery and treatment on individuals and key perspectives to improve treatment.
