Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Distinguish advocacy from lobbying
  2. Review specific steps for effective injury prevention advocacy
  3. Identify strategies for approaching a policymaker
  4. Utilize written advocacy tools necessary to advance a strategy and help patients and families prevent injury
