This interdisciplinary conference will focus on past, present and the future of Palliative Care. As patient care grows increasingly complex, this conference will highlight how our care has evolved to meet these needs.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Describe the trajectory of the palliative care programs, highlighting the early, foundational work by interprofessional leaders.
  2. Explore current and future opportunities to advocate for the utilization, sustainability, and growth of palliative care services.
  3. Discuss current innovations in palliative care, including pain management strategies and communication in serious illness.
